Be sure to call and RSVP at the church office if you are coming so they have a head count. Make sure you ID your self as a college student! The number to contact the church is 940-692-4220! Calling all gamers!

The Xtreme Xbox playoff (Halo 3) is April 5th @ 8 PM in the FLiC. Search Facebook later this week for more details and to sign up on the wall (will be up and running Friday... I'll post a link!!!!). The winner receives free Newsboys tickets and dinner.

Jaded?

Starting this Sunday we will begin a new Sunday School study by the name of Jaded. These lessons will be taught by Keith Lamb and Terry McDonald. If you were not there last Sunday to pick up a study guide, you can check out the first lesson @ http://www.threadsmedia.com/downloads/pdf_jaded_session1.pdf . I think this lesson we will be eye opening and life changing! We hope to see you all there at 9:45 AM. If you aren't sure where we are located we are upstairs in the FLIC!

What's Happenin'?!?

Hey everyone! Hope that this semester has started well for everyone! I know you are all busy, but just wanted to let you know what's going on at the church. Also make sure you take a look at the fellowship and ministry opportunity pages... there are updates there as well. There has also been a change in our weekly bible study. See the side of the page for those details. Below are four events that are coming up soon!

What: Soup throw-down and Superbowl watching
When: Feb 3rd @ 4:45 PM
Where: Fellowship Hall/ FLiC
Details: We will be have a soup cook off and the money raised will go to the Faith Mission. The gym will also be open for basketball and volleyball. There were also be a room set up to play games! Come and join us for the Superbowl... with the halftime message being brought by Jon Randles!

What: REVIVAL with Jon Randles
When: Feb 3rd through Feb 6th
Where: Faith's Sanctuary
Details: Services every night at 7PM. For more details check out the churches website.

What: Casting Crowns and Leeland Concert
When: Feb 7th (Thurs) at 7 PM at the MPEC
Cost: Contact Josh for information. He has reduced price tickets for those interested in going as chaperones!

What: Passion Conference
When: Feb 15th and 16th
Where: Dallas, TX
Cost: $99 - this will cover your conference fee. $20 is due by Feb 3rd! The church will provide transportation and lodging.
Details: This conference will be at the Nokia Live Theater in Grand Prairie. It will feature speakers such as Louie Giglio and artist such as Chris Tomlin.

Sunday after morning service we will be having a gradaution lunch for our December graduates. Kim and Alyssa are both graduating and we want to celebrate with them and in honor of them! Please join us for some great mexican food! Hope to see you there!

Christmas Party!!!

What: Sunday School Christmas Party
When: Sunday Dec 2nd @ 7PM

Where: Meet @ Faith FLIC

Cost: $5 (to help contribute to our gift for the ministry tree child we are buying for)

Sunday night December 2nd we will be having our Sunday School Christmas Party! For those who can come at 6 PM we will be singing carols in the FLIC as a church. If you can't make it at 6 the party will start at 7.

We will all go to together to buy presents for our minstry tree kid. After that we will ride around and look at Christmas lights. We are then going to go back to my (Courtney's) house for supper and games (Wii, board games, basketball, etc). We are going to try and get the church vans so that we can ride together. When we head out to my house you can either take your own vehicle and caravan, or hopefully Candice can get a church van to take some people out there to save on gas.

If you are unable to attend part of the event and just want to meet at my house it's a straight shot down southwest parkway. If you are at the church you would simply turn left onto southwest parkway (heading toward McNeil) and go straight for aprox 14 miles (Southwest Parkway turns into FM 369). Our house is the first house on the right past the prison (except for the wardens). And is exactly 2 miles past the prison. It's a big brick house w/ a metal shop next door that says Autovision. We also have a dumpster in the driveway. If you need better directions just let me know.

Also, dinner will be provided, but don't worry about bringing anything. We have it taken care of!

Ornan's Floor

Hey everyone! Sunday morning we had the privilege of rocking out to Ornan's Floor. They were amazing!

Gene Ann will be going to San Angelo Nov. 27, so if any of you wanted a CD or a specific T-shirt and didn't have the money to buy it Sunday, she can take your money with her(in an evelope with your name and contact information) and bring the item(s) back to you.

Also, please keep the band in your prayers. December and January is a hard time financially for the band. Right now all they have for December is a couple of gigs in San Angelo.
